Funny Names For Sororities
If you close your eyes you find elsewhere.
After several months I start to dwell again on this shot. I remember well then:
Kyoto, early afternoon, September.
I had deliberately lost a net of small streets in the eastern part of the city, I went to Kyoto alone (indeed much of my time I have been) time I walked through the alleys of this ambiguous part of the city, to calm, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Suddenly, after passing along one of those walls on which condo you probably just before Ranma had walked himself or his, I found myself faced with this "gutter" at a glance how low. Sliced \u200b\u200bnet "the jumble of houses I had seen earlier in the alleys, like a glimpse into the gray sky blue Japanese this canale portava una pennellata di colore e romanticismo ad un paesaggio grigio ed uniforme. Non so ancora il perchè ma la vista delle persone che si rilassavano passeggiando sulle sponde o delle scolarette che si rinfrescavano in acqua mi ha rallegrato, forse per il fatto che fino a quel momento mi èro quasi abituato a vedere soltanto masse di giapponesi stressati in eterno ritardo verso qualche meta a me ignara (tempo dopo avrei scoperto le domeniche a Yoyogi park..).
Ho fatto questo scatto senza pensarci due volte, ma non sono assolutamente riuscito a catturare quell'atmosfera, andando avanti avrei trovato altri canaletti come questo, alcuni decisamente più belli ma da un punto di vista "emozionale " più artefatti.

Disponibile da oggi online il secondo numero della Webzine italo-giapponese Abaco Magazine, redatta dai miei due amici "installati" a Tokyo, Alessandro Silvestri e Flavio Parisi.
"In mezzo mondo si usa solo la calcolatrice. Ce n’è un altra metà che per contare usa l’abaco. Noi veniamo dalla prima e abitiamo nella seconda. Questa è la nostra rivista.

Fall
There was a time when the fall was much less obvious, is now so inflated with photos, movies, etc etc that passes the desire to tell and there is only the need to live in every nuance, every fallen leaf, every sua domenica pomeriggio..Che noiaaaaaa.
Io quest'anno HO a disposizione una stylist, due modelle e due grandiosi assistenti (nessuno è stato pagato ma nemmeno maltrattato), percui ho deciso di fare un bel set autunnale. Continuo a non sentirmi all'altezza del compito ma stavolta il risultato mi ha quasi soddisfatto.
Vi presento un estratto di AUTUMN 2008.
