Probably there will be many people opposed to the Toy Room (including my dad) because of their "dubious" quality that often is considered art. Se come me pensate che il telefono cellulare è lo strumento che contraddistingue la nostra generazione e come me sentite che è probabilmente il mezzo di espressione più contemporaneo attualmente in uso, vale la pena cercare di esprimere il proprio punto di vista (perchè questo blog stesso is only an opinion) by a camera mounted on a toy phone.

In short, inspired by the famous "Kodak" instantmatic, toy camera industry leader in the 60s, and Bruce Winston Dorbowski, two brothers of Wisconsin fans of photography, invented a camera full of plastic, both body and lens. In 18 Days gave birth to their first prototype called Hipstamatic that saw some success coming to be sold in 157 copies. That was in 1982, unfortunately, two years after a senseless tragedy happened, that the two brothers died hit by a drunk driver, so for their dreams and their project was just a sad memory in the hands of his older brother Richard, who shall tells the story 25 years later, the two creators of the Synthetic (Incorporated in iPhone Apps) which proposed to bring the project on the digital image Hipstamatic through an iPhone application. The rest is history.

Odaiba

For some time often on Sundays I like to go to Odaiba お 台場, a district of Tokyo is completely detached from the rest of the city because it is completely artificial and can only be reached through the rainbow bridge, with the Yurikamome ゆり かもめ or the famous Tokyo Monorail. In fact, you can reach the island on foot or by car but most people prefer to take the train because you can enjoy the view from the monorail. The island of Odaiba is also known as the "Tokyo Teleport Town" and it will be because of my past (and present) very NERD , who admits to having expressed a certain satisfaction, followed by a "grin" of consent by the reference to mythology and cyberpunk Sci.Fi. of which they are passionate.

Tokyo based and the odyssey of my monitor.

Finally, after many vicissitudes and smoothly I landed in Tokyo on a visa that allows me to stay for 2 years. Hello! :-)

Today, instead of talking about photography I would like to talk about shipping. Why? The reason is as follows. To produce
photography (especially graphics) is not just a camera and a computer but need a range of aids, in my case a monitor 24 "apple cinema in a specific LED.
Has anyone ever tried to carry a monitor 24 "inch heavy 10kg (15 packaged) from one continent to another? I do. This is my story ..

In this month of 2009 I began to ask me a question, how to bring my beautiful display, only bought in March in Tokyo, a city where I was transferred a few months later. The assumptions that were presented were twofold: to sell the monitor even seen watering down its high price or take it with me, send it or take on board the aircraft.

Turning on the internet I found several forums where there were other desperate people who, like me,

Quello che feci subito fu di telefonare alla ditta in questione la quale mi subbappaltò ad uno dei loro spedizionieri di fiducia: ISG.

Fatte le telefonate di riferimento la signorina al telefono mi fa il preventivo. 150 euro spese incluse. Ci sto. Spedisco e ritiro il pacco al Cargo gate di NARITA. Niente di più facile…(povero illuso). Imballai il monitor nella sua scatola e mi recai a Fiumicino dall’ISG. Fatto, spedito, pagato. Sarebbe arrivato con il volo del giorno dopo, ovvero would arrive at Narita a day before me, just in time for customs clearance of routine.

THE ODYSSEY Tokyo

arrived at Narita news I immediately asked the location of Alitalia Cargo, but after a lengthy consultation between customs officials puzzled the answer I received was a phone number. After the first moments of sheer desperation I headed for the phones to call Alitalia Cargo at Narita. I received a phone call from the address, nothing easier, and found a taxi driver and delivered the address, loaded it all on taxi pensado that the bulk of the situation had been done.

... Now, kindness and availability of Japanese history, the fact is that this took me to walk to the tourist information office is located exactly on the opposite side of the area, about one km on foot.

Feci la dogana e l’impiegato mi indirizzò fino all’area JAL dove c’èra l’addetto di Alitalia Cargo con cui avevo parlato al telefono a Narita che mi aspettava fuori dall’ufficio venendomi incontro!

Salto tutte le pratiche burocratiche per dire che il gentilissimo e disponibilissimo Kato-san dopo avermi helped to get my monitor has offered to bring me back to Narita airport with his car!

CONSIDERATIONS Today

The first consideration is that regardless of the effort I made to return a parcel to Narita Cargo, I can say that following the proper procedure all seemed smooth enough, the Japanese attach great importance to the precision in the bureaucracy and such practices are carried out very quickly. My problem was to have been facing this not knowing what to do and where to go, but especially to those who ask. I wanted to write this guide to help anyone if they ever were, you would find in my own case. The second consideration is that I probably agreed to sell this monitor and buy it again here in Italy ... maybe at a discount and 20% of points on the card Labi.

il messina sta passando non certo un periodo memorabile della sua storia ma non e certo la prima volta che il messina si trova in queste condizioni come ad esempio nel 93 non fu ammessa nel campionato dei professionistici e quindi fu retrocessa in d.il messina si trova in un momento difficile e senza i suoi tifosi lo sarà maggiormente di piu.il calcio a messina purtroppo non ce piu e questo non solo per i tifosi e una batosta pesante ma anche per una città intera,che gia pochi anni fa si trovava nel calcio professionistico e che non si immaginava certo questa categoria della d.nell'anno 2003/04 per i tifosi del messina fu proprio un sogno incaccellabile che rimarrà per sempre nella storia del messina calcio.con il settimo posto in classifica e con i suoi successi a san siro su rimonta 1-2 gol di giampà e zampagna fecero sognare una città intera.con le vittorie con la roma in casa al san filippo 4-3,con l'inter 2-1,i derby vinti con la reggina,catania,vittorie che per la tifoseria non saranno mai dimenticati.adesso e la seconda stagione che non siamo nel calcio che conta e ora che questa società si dia una mossa perchè una squadra blasonata come il messina non merita certo questa categoria.spero vivamente che il messina torni nel calcio professionistico,cosi ricominceremo a sognare la nostra favola..forza messina nui semu missinisi e non ti lassamu chiù.

Today I decided not to talk about some of my improbaile experiment.
The other day I was chatting with this girl from Singapore that I had the pleasure to know, even if only Teleservices, on facebook. It's called
Zhang Jingna, is Chinese and the world knows her as Zemotion . I must admit that I like everyone I knew for some time for his beautiful photographs.

We talked that she would like to work more in Europe but, despite having a portfolio which campaigns and editorials for Mercedes Benz, Harpers Bazaar, Ogilvy & Mather, although part of the Masters Photographers Association and has won only 20 more years, the Singapore Masters Photographers Award, are still some wariness on the part of us Westerners.
I think his photographs speak for themselves. There is no need to react.
Bearing in mind that this girl has started to shoot at about 17/18 years makes me take my gear and throw it away.

In all this I must say that despite is a celebrity, remains a very modest and very sweet.
